I think this is what I am looking for. Edit: (I was trying to quote the post with the dimensionreversing...ftm file. I screwed up and hit reply...sorry for the confusion.)
I wasn't really trying to introduce myself in this thread, but I was looking to find out what each values in the 2a03 do. Let's say I type this value here, what effect does that create. Rather than blindly placing numbers till I get a sound that I want, I was wondering if anyone could help me understand what the values I am placing do.
I know what the effect list is, and use it frequently. But when I go to edit an instrument, I have no idea what values change what. So I was wondering if there was a guide or something that would allow me to understand rather than guessing till I get something I like.
After all, there are now descriptions in there, not just the range of accepted values, like you said before. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean
EDIT: Sorry if I'm being more of a bother than a help
This is helpful, I looked at it a while ago...but thought it just explained that you could change instruments. I just read it now again, and realized it describes a tad bit about what changing the values do.
I JUST REALIZED, YOU'RE NOT IN CANADA... (but perilously close, I'll give you that) ...LIKE ALMOST EVERYONE ELSE ON THIS BLOODY SITE!!!
I play hockey, and my sister even plays in a Canadian hockey league...so I pretty much go there every weekend. It's only like 30 minutes to the border haha. Where in Canada are you?
This is in fact an instrument thread, I'll attempt to contribute some instruments eventually. Considering I didn't know how to use this feature until a few weeks ago, I am getting there haha. Does anyone know Starscream? I would love to be able to make a similar sounding instrument in FamiTracker.
Heres some random instruments.
I made these awhile ago.
