You may want to report this in the bug list or to jsr if you haven't already. Famitracker is the only tracker I've used so I don't know what MODPlug tracker's supposed to be like. I have mine set on FastTracker II because it was used for N64 music and since this program is for NES music...
Anyway I tried using FastTracker II once but I don't know how to import sounds into it.

I don't know if the tracker styles are supposed to apply to everything, but I certainly prefer MPT's style.

The Disk Op. button. I don't know how to make sound on FastTracker 2, 3 or the new evolution, SkaleTracker, though. For that, use milky or wave maker programs.

I know there can be more improvements, I'll look into it. If you want it to not move then you can set the step setting to 0.
