nicetas_c: I've checked it myself now and indeed the FDS max volume seems to be 32 (and not clipped to 31 as I first understood it), so that will be increased by one in next version.
I think I see now what's wrong the file icon, it looks fine in windows 7 though so I didn't notice it before release. I'll fix that too.
jsr: There's this weird problem that when I open up a VRC7 song that has more than one row, it starts out on another one (Example: It starts on row 02 when it's really supposed to be row 00).
I've also noticed the same volume export bug as in the beta.
When you create a VRC7 module & set the VRC7 channels to a different volume setting, they don't export to NSF files properly; the VRC7 channels all sound as though they're set at maximum volume.

Whoops! That's what I get for not reading every single topic response. I've created a topic on the same note release problem that you've mentioned, Doommaster1994. Either way, I'm having that problem as well.
Here's a bug that's really been frustrating me lately. I wonder if anyone else has noticed it.
Sometimes I cut a pattern early with the Dxx command. When I do that, it seems to change the global "rows" setting (thus cutting ALL of my patterns of early).
I've been trying to get it to happen so I can figure out what is causing it, but I can't. It just happens sometimes.
My friend finally ripped the Dirty Harry NSF. It only plays correctly in NSFPlay though. It's volumes are E5, etc. So I guess I had to do it by ear all along.
tadpole: I've found the cause to that problem. It's when undo is used on a pattern with Dxx, the whole pattern size is set to the Dxx row number. This was an attempt to fix another bug where garbage data would appear (and sometimes crash the program) after some combinations of changing pattern size and using undo. It didn't work well though.
However I've found and fixed a number of bugs already so there might soon be another release with bug fixes.
Edit: I have been working on fixing the bugs now and I think some of them are critical enough to justify a a new version so I uploaded a preview of it (0.3.6) here: ft.zip. I'll leave it here for a day and if no other bugs are discovered then it'll be released as an official version.
This is supposed to have the known bugs fixed, these includes the Sxx bug, 300 in VRC7 as well as other discovered quirks in VRC7 NSF code, the row length setting bug & release sequence loading bug. (And a few more, a complete list will come.) There is also one new feature: importing FTM-files as songs (found in module properties)
Awesome! This fixed the problem we were discussing about with the mixing volumes in VRC7 (& I now know that Nestopia's very glitchy when it comes to reproducing the VRC7 instrument at the proper volume & pitch settings; I created a test sound in the 0.3.6 preview & played it in both Nestopia & NSFPlay. Nestopia didn't play the sound properly, whereas NSFPlay played it perfectly).
As long as it works as it should in more accurate players, I'm officially switching to the newest FamiTracker version.
JSR; I salute you!
