I use NSFPlay for all of the sound information (Mostly for the envelopes).

The FDS notes towards the beginning of the song have a peak volume of 20 (10 in 0.3.5.).
The 2A03 SQ2 fade-ins towards the beginning have a peak volume of 7.

So are you sure that the rest of the envelopes are correct as well?

Yeah, I had to do it twice because after the first time I saved it and tried to re-open it, Famitracker said it couldn't load the file properly, so I had to redo everything, and check the envelopes again.

How worth it is this super accuracy if it's going to make you act like a dick to every person who tries to do their own cover without analyzing the shit out of it? You're a god with this program but that doesn't mean everyone's going to accept your criticisms over the tiniest things that no one can hear without extracting the NSF to a MIDI and running it through fifteen programs to be as exact as possible.

No disrespect intended, but to me this gets old really fast. Good luck on your Castlevania project.

I've started on Clockwork (though it's definitely not as accurate as you'd prefer)

I, for one, see no "dickery" in his post, even though most of his posts can almost be seen as "harsh" (no insult intended at all, nicetas). Just because one can get used to read all posts in a "this guy is treating me like an idiot" mode (anyone with experience with message boards and imageboards would tell you that) doesn't mean every single person in the world would mean it that way. I mean, even YOUR post can be seen as being, well, a dick; but I can tell you're just annoyed, not trying to be mean just for the hell of it. But I can't say the same about other people.

Is it wrong if he wishes for accuracy? This project is supposed to showcase the techniques of the originals (or at least that's what I perceive as its goal), so accuracy is more than just welcomed in these kinds of cases.

Well I doubt a moderator would tolerate thread hijacking, lol. As for nicetas, I usually considered his criticism to be constructive, as he seems to find good qualities in the things he listens to aside from criticisms. I guess I can see why people would call it harsh though, but still.

Indeed I should be more tolerant to other people's work.

Also, Doommaster1994, my apologies for saying that Monster Dance seems to be the only song in the soundtrack that uses modulation.

I'll admit, I'm a little lazy when it comes to accuracy. I shouldn't be.

Added CV1 Out of Time, CV1 Game Over, WIP CV2J Bloody Tears, WIP CV3U Deja Vu, WIP CV3J Deja Vu, WIP CVS Stage 7 (CVS = Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula-Kun).

Fine pitched CV1 Prologue.

P.S.: What the beep, the forum does not read the square brackets in my attachment...

I have already forgotten what I have added in this version, however I can always finish it later as long as I do not remove the old versions.

This time I focused on Pack 2 (the one with VRC6). K3W stands for Konami Wai Wai World, CVOoE stands for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia.

Note for Pk. 2 #39: Stage 2 Ride starts at frame 00, Stage 7 starts at frame 05.

Now the CVAoS Heart of Fire is archived as well, and I have 'change all'-ed the stand-alone one, so it is now unique here, and takes up around 50KB in Pk. 1.
