This is a perfect example on using discord in a proper manner to change the mood of a song. I'm definitely including this on the first post (even if it isn't accurate; accuracy isn't something I really concentrate on. It's merely a show of skills that I'm interested in).
I hope there are more contenders. I'm getting ready to prepare that shrine page, but I'm stumped at what image I should use as a header. Maybe I should ask the winner to supply their own image once a winner is declared.

I had a listen to Archenemy a bit, actually. I'd love to see a cover of that in the future. Anyways, I changed the submission's link.
For some odd reason, I like certain horror songs like this (where there's a perfect blend of discord & harmonics). If only I knew how to do such things in FamiTracker for my last original soundtrack earlier.

just had to join the thread and say. awesome entries. Oh and I love that Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. My favourite on the GBA, even tho the music was totally fucked up mostly. This and one other tune + the ending were the only tunes barable.
screw_it.ftm was pretty awesome. It reminded me of Ikari Warriors or whatnot
I know; it's quite a show of both talent & skill. Most of them are originals & two of them are at 900 BPM; it's something that many people can be proud of.
However, this contest will last till the end of September; I wonder who will be 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the upcoming vote.

Well, since I figured that there are 7 contestants who submitted their works, I might as well post something up myself. If you think me as lame for posting an entry in my own contest, then so be it.
But I know I'll lose anyways. :P
And if I win by accident during the vote, those who are second, third & fourth in the polls will receive the first, second & third prizes respectively.

I don't see anymore one-instrument wonders, so I'll open a poll; voting will last until the 10th of October (to account for any currently-absent members who wish to vote for a winner).
If the vote is a dead-lock between two people on the last voting day, I'll break the vote by choosing the one that I prefer more. If it's a dead-lock between three people at that time, I'll break the vote for first place & give both 2nd & 3rd place prizes to the other tied contestants.
