1.- Mute for FX, like mute the whole column. This maybe is a big mess and complicated to do. But could be nice to have that option :D.
2.- Export to NSFE (with the name of the songs aswell). This will help us to instant tag!! XD if you already have it in your FTM, then you just have to export your multi-song nsf to a nsfe and the file keep the name of the songs into the NSFE file :D.
Has anyone suggested displaying the VRC7 preset values?
With a bit of reading (and enough time on their hands), one can calculate the default values themself using the chart at the bottom of this page (although the author explicitly says those are estimated values and there is no way to extract the register settings for each preset instrument).
As for my requests, I know the "unlimited mode" has been denied, but what about simply using more than one extra sound chip at a time? ppMCK allows it, at any rate.
I think I mentioned this somewhere else on the board but I'd also like to see a text (MML) editor for VRC7 instruments that would be affected in real time to reflect changes made to the custom patch. The page I linked to in this post could be used as a reference, and it would come in handy for those of us who work with both ppMCK and FT, and want to transfer instruments from an MML into a Famitracker instrument, or want a visual way to create VRC7 instruments and then use them in an MML, without having to resort to using Kevin Horton's page every time. :P
I just thought of another. I don't know how feasible it is, but I think some trackers (like MilkyTracker) support it. As it is right now, if I have one Bxx and one Dyy on the same row, it ignores the Dyy effect and goes to frame Bxx, row 0x00. Would it be possible to implement a feature where having, say, B02 and D20 makes the module skip to frame 0x02, row 0x20 ?
