I've been thinking about this for a while. The rules for this contest would be:

- Only one channel playing at a time
- VRC6 and MMC5 are fine since you don't get any extra channel advantage (But try to keep with 2A03 if you can)
- FDS may be allowed if used in a creative way
- VRC7 might be allowed if used in a very creative way (Also, make sure it doesn't "bleed" into the next note)

Entries should be graded on technical creativity and general sound of the song.

I'd need a bit of help for when I should end the contest though, I also might wait to see how long it takes to get entries in.

Do these rules seem alright?

EDIT: Updated with everyones entries so far. Tell me if you want to change or take down your entry.

There was similar compo on BotB recently, with triangle channel only.

Honestly, songs in this thread aren't sounds like songs, they sounds like a channel with other channels missing.

Here is very simple and rough example that you could do with one channel. I've made it right now, in like 10 minutes, to show what you could aim to with one channel.

Use Sxx or A09.

I wasn't even using FamiTracker 0.3.5 or 0.3.6, so that rules out the Sxx command. But I don't really care, honestly; this is one of those contests that don't really yield many good results (like the extra-slow contest). :P
