Just because some BASIC versions implemented MML doesn't make MML a programming language. :P

Anyhow, this site is cool. I probably won't use it, since FamiTracker already covers my NES composing needs pretty well, but I like that it exists.

I think every BASIC is turing-complete though. It's not that high a bar to reach if you're going for it.

If MML were a programming language, you could do arbitrary calculations and make decisions based on them. You'd have a lot of power to augment the existing macros and transformations (e.g. write a diatonic transpose function), or even create algorithmic music.
