I can get all the other effects to work. When I type 3(Glissando)into the effects it's like I never typed anything at all. Same goes for the V(Duty Cycling) effect. I can get G(Note delay) to come up as an effect but can't get it to change the sound no matter what value I type in. What am I doing wrong?
There are a few effects i'm trying to create that I hear in old games all the time, maybe someone can give me a tip? One makes the sound almost like a chord with a nice high pitched ringing to it. The other sounds like the tone has reverb run over it. Both are used in the old megaman games alot. Any ideas?
3 and V are relatively new, so I suspect you just need to get the newest beta release as for G, I know that it doesn't work on the DMC channel in earlier versions - perhaps you are trying to use it on that? If not... I am not sure.
I do have the newest version. I had to get it because I wrote a song that took up all 64 bars and I needed the new version to open the file. I think something else is going on.
Strobe- Whoa! cool new beta, looks cool too. Now I can get effects Vxx and 3xx to pop up and they are sweet! I should be able to produce the tones I wanted with them.
Slash- Thanks for the info i'm shure it will save me alot of time. I can get Gxx to delay the note by one bar but that's all I can seem to get it to do. Any ideas why I can't get it to do anything else? Does this effect create a delay effect like an echo or does it just delay when the actual note hits?
