Oi, I have a question for the VRC7 experts among you. I need a brief but exact explanation on what "Mult. Factor" does on the instrument. I know what to do with it but I couldn't put words on it!
It's just a multiplier -- increasing the multiplier for the carrier raises the pitch of the carrier signal (by multiplying the frequency). Increasing the multiplier for the modulator increases the rate of modulation (also by multiplying its frequency).
I disagree about this thread being a clutter. The help file doesn't fully explain, and furrykef's post will be helpful to a handful of members.
it isn't clutter. it's just sour grapes and asperger's syndrome on his part. at this point it's really tedious reading otherwise productive threads and him shitting all over them with his attitude problem.
