New alpha:

http://www.delek.com.ar/soft/deflemask/DefleMask_Alpha3.12.rar

- Solved the "Select All" bug. (thanks fluidvolt!)
- Delete volume values now is possible. (thanks fluidvolt!)
- Change octaves with "*" and "/". (thanks fluidvolt!)
- Implemented a triple "select all" mode (thanks fluidvolt!):
First Ctrl+A selects all notes or volume (depends where you are) of current channel, second will select all the current channel; the third will select ALL channels [this works toghether with the mouse].
- Fixed the problem of changing all the sliders in a single pass of the mouse. (thanks MrFTBN!)
- Updated the manual to, among other things, explain the use of the pattern matrix (thanks MrFTBN!).
- Reduced the time of the intro screen.
- Corrected a few minor bugs.

On next beta I will implement:
- A Record Mode.
- Envelope editing with mouse.
- Etc, etc.

Cool! I'll give this a shot soon.

Only other thing I can think of right now is a way to change the number of all the patterns in a single row.

YEEAHH, awesomee.mmf is awesome!!; sounds closest to an 8bit song (you used 2 operators only), but at the same time is more complex than that. I like it a lot.

Just a side note. Actually there is a software for the chip, made in 2003 by the developer itself - SMAF Sound Decorator (free download, at bottom of the page). It is MIDI to MMF converter (MMF files were one of popular formats of ringtones before most of mobile phones got MP3 support), with preview function and some settings. It supports few MA chips, including this one (MA-2), and produces MMF files. That's why there is no other software, it was enough to make ringtones, and as far as I know, these chips weren't used for other purposes.

Yeah, that was mentioned before on this thread.

And as I said, that MIDI to MMF converter from YAMAHA is very hard to use, and you don't get real time feedback of the sound chip (you first need to listen to the midi, THEN convert and see what you get), this YAMAHA's FM soundchips has a lot of potential, and the idea is that a Tracker can get that potential.

If wasn't hard to use for me when I used it, actually. There was no need to push the chip to the limits, just get a version of the same song, which had to be done in a lot of formats, including MIDI anyway.

Of course, a tracker could get a lot of potential of the chip, and it is nice to have. Personally, I would prefer VSTi emulator of the chip, though.

DefleMask can handle the PCM channel!, was a huge work. I'm writing a wav loader right now, this sounds great.

I will try to add some effects commands (vibrato, pitch bend, etc) before the release of the next alpha.

This tracker (DefleMask) is AWESOME! I can't wait until all 32 waveforms are available (that includes the three where anyone can load user-defined oscillators). The concept is brilliant, and all it needs is two more algorithms and the rest of the waveforms.

Must try.

I hope these get put in by the next release. I can't wait to start using this more once those are put in.

I don't know if it's already been discussed, but there's a glitch where when you play the modules the channels might not come out how they're supposed to. Or might not come out at all.

EDIT: Yes, bump.
