I am extremely amazed at your ability to come up with quick fixes like this! Amazing.
Thanks a lot mate!. <3

The last thing I have to report is that while the extra noise octave fixes the missing frequencies issue in the tracker, in the arp macros you still only get 12 frequencies out of the 16. :\
You could use the arrow keys that I added in the version 8 to go upward or downward. Check out this image.

I'm sorry, the bug I reported was a false positive. Transposing my noise channel up an octave fixed it. :)

I did notice those arrows, but what was happening was that even though I went higher up than 12 in the macro, it would still wrap to frequency 0. But as I said, entering notes on octave 2 instead of octave 1 allowed me to reach those extra frequencies.

Okay, this should be pretty much my final version:

DMF
NSF

Feel free to include it as a demo if you need more NES material in there.

Nice thanks.

I re-uploaded DefleMask, including your track and also fixed a potential crash while changing the pitch of the samples.

I think you credited jrlepage's track to Ares64, Delek. :X

It reads "Ares64 cv:jrlepage" in the DMF's info, and "Orig. NSF by Ares64 / cv:jrlepage 2012" in the NSF...

Yuk yuk. Offence is not a misspelling.

edit: Oh yeah, did GBS export get changed at all? Or was the plan to stick with the more musical, less emulated volume method?

It is the less emulated volume method, I will update it soon so all tracks can be executed on the actual hardware but I need to done some test before.

This is kind of a personal problem with my computer. My graphics card gives me a BSOD after a random amount time being used (even watching a youtube video) so I'm stuck with the one for the motherboard, which unfortunately can't run Deflemask (and most DirectDraw stuff runs choppy unless I constantly move my mouse lol). Is it possible to get it to work somehow?

I presume you've done everything to troubleshoot the STOP error?

za909, you could try to update the drivers and to see if it has support for OpenGL, also you should update the OpenGL drivers.

Btw, DefleMask 8 Update 4 arrived!.

NEWS:
UPDATE 4 (@ 23/09/12):
Added new shortcuts: Ctrl+Left/Right to swap between channels.
Now while editing effects the cursor will move to the next effect value rather than go downwards.
Now you can move the Instrument Editor Window with Alt+Up/Down, now the users without a mouse wheel should scroll it fine.
Now you can use Shift+Enter to play only the current pattern.
Now you can control the Sliders with the mouse wheel, this give you more precise control for them (for example, in the pattern matrix position).
Now the artist name and song name are correctly stored in rom files of NES and Game Boy.
Changed the Next/Previous Instrument shortcut to Alt+Left/Right, in order to avoid conflicts with the Selection (previously it was Shift+Left/Right).
Fixed the Full Screen crash, now you can press Alt+Enter and DefleMask will appear in Full Screen mode.
Fixed a bug in Genesis that was present after loading some type of presets.
Fixed a bug after loading a DMF that was causing to load incorrectly the Pitch and Amp of the Samples.
Fixed the relation between EDxx (note delay) and other effects.
Fixed a crash while using Step 0.
Both Linux and Windows builds updated.
Manual Updated.

Guys, CRITICAL UPDATE to DefleMask, a potential crash was introduced in one of the latest updates, so it is priority to update it to the Update 6 (you should read Ver. 8 u6 in the Intro/About Screen). Many thanks for the feedback, specially to jrlepage.

UPDATE 6 (@ 26/09/12):
Fixed a huge stability issue, a crash condition was discovered by users and fixed!.
Fixed a bug after loading a DMF from OS Explorer that was causing to load incorrectly the Pitch and Amp of the Samples.
Both Linux and Windows updated.
