NEWS:
New and better SID export for Commodore 64, awesome use of memory and great sync.
Added lot of accurate code to the SID, some of your tunes will need some adjusts.
Effect Added to Commodore 64: 15xx - ADSR Hard Reset Time Set.
Now the effect 1Axx ADSR Reset is ON by default, setting it to 1 will NOT reset the ADSR on next notes on, setting it to 0 will use 15xx to perform the ADSR Hard Reset. Your tunes may need adjusts.
Added color change to the cursor while recording, it will be painted as "Effects Value" color (RED on default theme skin).
Added numbers to the Algorithms of FM instruments.
Improved some points of the GUI.
Shortcuts Alt+Up/Alt+Down acts like Backspace and Insert.
Some bugs fixed.
Manual Updated.
Linux, Mac and Windows builds updated.
Wiii. Looking forward to hear some DefleMask's .sid files running on a C64!
It seems this version doesn't crash randomly, (at least it was stable long enough for me to compose a short song) but a 6581 song of mine crashed when I tried to play it on 8580 mode.
Also, the output .sid file sounded NOTHING like it did in Deflemask.
(maybe the exporter doesn't handle ADSR reset the same way as DM?)
EDIT: I also have an idea for a standard effect (which would be most useful for the SID and the FM synth chips). An auto-release command for every note. Let me explain it a little mor eclearly in this example.
C-3 1 F E3xx
This would trigger a release event for the channel x frames after every note as long as the effect is active. On the C64 this would allow the creation of decaying instruments with two different decay speeds (Decay until sustain level is reached, then fade out with the release envelope)
Really don't wanna double post, but otherwise, this is not gonna be seen...
Delek, if you're still on the forums, would you consider adding an autosave feature?
