I also find it odd upon restarting the song (not the module) the drop starts off where it was last played.

I assume that is a out of range issue, can easily be fixed limiting the input values.

Try putting a note in. On my version it works the same way with or without a note. Any note makes it sound exactly the same.

Still doesn't work for me. But I noticed buggy1 works differently when you change the buffer length or the engine speed.
