Honestly, if that were possible, would you then have any qualms against multichip expansion?

Because the people talking on that side of the coin aren't even concerned anymore about NES or NSF limitations. But in my scenario, it's basically a giant FU to that idea of restrictions.

I have a copy. You want it? (Seriously; I had it since my graduation thesis involved working with it.)

And you'd be surprised what can technically be done with two 2A03 chips (or two of any microprocessor, for that matter).
