Actually, that top left room is still on the map, but can't be reached without cheating (or possibly glitching). It contains the gravity shock powerup, which is disabled in the final version. It was accessed via a secret passage in the room to its right.

+1 confirm
Does nothing. Doesn't show up as 101% (awww) and doesn't show up in inventory. Have to hit esc to get out.

Also, about the boss 0:00. Don't do that. It'll permanently disable the Records. And, during that run that you get the 0:00, esc and m will be disabled. You'll have to refresh the page to get 'em working again (though the records are still disabled)

Cool. Thanks for sharing the FTMs and map, auriplane. Do you do a lot of chiptune music, or was this just a one-off thing for this particular game?

Beat the game with only 92% of all items & 98% of the map.

I figured out what was wrong with the export! I had a bunch of stray values in the instrument column in a couple patterns. They all had the same instrument number as the instrument that was already playing, and that sounded fine in FTM, but the exported NSF broke spectacularly.

In any case, I updated the FTM link I posted earlier, and also updated the soundtrack page to include NSFs.

Soundtrack page with NSFs

I do like writing chiptunes. I've written music all my life, most of it terrible, so I have hundreds of songs lying around (900ish, written over the last 20 years). But I don't necessarily want to punish you by exposing you to my old tunes ;-)

I haven't done way too much with FT yet, but I want to do more!!

Yay, I finally got into that other snelk room. It was really hard to get in between there... I had tried that spot a couple of times in my original playthrough. I probably wouldn't have kept trying if I didn't know it was there from your map.

Someday I will beat the boss rush...

Some more exploration of the Secret Worlds:
That giant snail in the first pic auriplane uploaded isn't just a mark. It's a physical place on the map.

Same for the copyright.

And I finally got into that corner of the big room in Spiralis Silere. During gameplay it totally looks like you can get in there especially because of the open bottom which looks like it leads somewhere. It irked the crap outta me. Was a relief to get in there, but the exit is just death

There's also a save spot outside the map that's about 5 screens down and 1 right from the NorthEast corner of the map.

And about comments for the game. Obviously great if I'm spending so much time on it. The only thing that it needs is you need to explain the strafe button somewhere during gameplay. It's very useful in boss battles and pretty much needed to survive the boss rush (my best leglit time is ~5:20
