You can make an approximated timbre (I recall that some people made it), but since the operators are all sine, I doubt you make a perfect square with just 4 operators.

Well I just used the square wave instrument from Star crusier (it's sounds almost like PSG and can used with echoing between the FM and PSG) But the main problem is that the FM channel is at least two notes lower then the PSG. So I can't just copy and paste.

Oh and people have manage to get perfect sounding 50% square wave with the VRC7(2op?). I don't see how it's impossible with the 2612.
Well, like I said: you can make an approximation of the timbre, and that's what you get - it sounds pretty much like square, however, as a waveform it doesn't look like a perfect square for me:
za, that's actually on topic. That's pretty cool btw.
Now then. I covered the Dance Club from Streets of Rage 3. Here it is. What's the big deal you ask? There's something strange going on with the instrument being used in channel 4. Open the VGE and play it. Ok, no big deal. Switch to PAL mode and play. Ok, nothing special. Switch back to NTSC and play again. Huh... Sounds completely different. Also, if you export to VGM, it sounds different as well, but in a different way compared to switching to PAL and back to NTSC. Weird stuff.
