I think GB is pretty doable. No you can't get the exact framerate, but 60hz can approximate pretty well (the Super Game Boy was a testament to this). Everything else (pitches, volumes, waveforms, etc.) can map to the FDS without too much loss of precision, I think.
I'm not going to do it though. I am still planning to make another update for the importer for 0.3.7 now that source is out, but that's it.
It's a brilliant addition that does what's needed. My only qualm is that it should have been included & implemented officially by JSR, as part of the latest stable release.

In that case, I'd like to make a suggestion: can you make the "Open" button (Ctrl+O) act like "Import NSF" instead of opening FTMs (which is pretty useless since we can't modify them)? I figure since your tool's main purpose is to load NSFs, and especially since FTMs can't even be modified in it to begin with, then it'd probably be a good idea assuming it's within the realm of the possible. What do you think?
Well, I'd honestly recommend leaving things the way they are, except actually allowing any FTM or imported NSF to be modified (that would be how I'd at least envision FamiTracker if it became an official addition to the program). Otherwise, if this is meant to be a strict importer only, then jrlepage has a point; one should reduce the amount of redundant functions if they're not supposed to be used.

Maybe this thread should be stickied. I mean; it's one of the most useful programs to spring up here, aside from NSFLive & DefleMask (both of which should also be stickied).
