Well, bomono, I highly doubt you have honors in English (& I know I'm most likely right; a true English honor student doesn't rely on Microsoft Word's spell check to do all the work for them... They'd get things right the first time).

But, if you're in high school & actually DO have English honors, you'll need to do some extra reading on physics & music theory in general.

This is what duty does. I know that you won't understand it, though, so here's a run-down; it obviously does NOT affect the mood of your song. Only the notes that you use affect the mood. Duty only makes a note sound more hollow, resonant, shrill or somewhere in between, depending on the sound channel. As tadpole & danooct1 have said, your incorrect notes won't be corrected by changing the duty; you actually have to do some work.

thanks for that i needed someone to tell me what notes were wrong on the song, thank :D, besides that i also will take the advice and try to cover simple songs, i might do megaman zero 3's soundtrack, ive covered some songs from it in the past, mind you the reborn machnaics was made before i tried black notes, so take it with a grain of salt, as for honors, the requirements to get in honors in my school district are absurdly easy infact all you need is a b or higher in middle school english in order to get in to honors english.

Back in my old middle school, your level of grammar (without spell check assistance) would get you a clear F (hell; you'd still get an F in grade 4 English back in my old elementary school). At least with a B, you'd still have great grammar with moderate spelling mistakes.

Anyways, your Megaman Zero 3: Reborn Mechanics sounds pretty incorrect (& I'm not just talking about your using C major as your key). If I transpose your song to the correct key, your notes are still wrong.

Here's an example:

And check the attachment for your transposed song. As you should be able to hear, your notes are incorrect when you compare it to the YouTube clip

seriously bomono, something easier doesn't mean reposting bad shit you've already done.

cover something from an nes game where you can split channels, and you have all the tools you need to recreate it to be exactly the same.

Anyway, go ahead and post the FTMs of those covers. You say they sound like the originals so I'd definately like to hear them.

He's too lazy to do it; he relies too much on MS Word to auto-correct his grade-1-level English for grade 7 homework. :P

And then you get trolled. (*facepalm*)

Raijin's very correct on this; the way I honestly see this, you're just going head-long into FamiTracker without any knowledge of music. The songs that you prefer to cover are beyond you because you can't readily differentiate between notes in any chord (regardless of how many notes are played at once).

Now, I have a little training assignment for you; make an EXACT cover of the MP3 I'm attaching here. I have the original FTM file; it's up to you to match it PERFECTLY. Otherwise, don't dive into any more complex covers & start from the basics.
