Skyrim is now just the best pasttime ever to me and not my whole life anymore.

Decided to try making a choir for vrc7, so far I have estrak vowel sound "ER" (prononced in between r and a) and latin vowel sound "AH".

KEN U FENESCH DISS SAWHNGUH? (might wanna wait to do that though, I could add more vowels at any time, enhancing the experience)

"ER" you hear better at a higher octave and "AH" you hear better at a lower.

Interesting approach. I've never tried to make vowel sounds with FM.

I just noticed the estrak ER is the same as the latin EU.

... time to edit and mark that...

EDIT: done

I have lots of little loops, but most of them aren't on the NES!

20MinutesAt7AMWithSambubula.ftm - Kinda self-explanatory. Shnabubula and I decided to write something for 20 minutes and this was the result. Eventually turned into an Atari track called Elementary School Supernova.
1910Victory.ftm - For some reason I always thought VRC7 lended itself well to oldies-sounding stuff.
c00tz.ftm - Something I'm never going to finish or continue working on.
Cyber.ftm - At one point I thought it was a good idea to try porting this OPL3 tune of mine to FTM.
FDSCheeze.ftm - When FDS support was added, I enthusiastically put together this sample tune with it. I then proceeded to never touch it again!
poopbutt.ftm - Another thing I'll never finish or continue working on.
ReallyIHadntMadeThisSongYetWhaaaat.ftm - A song I make for everything as a sort of test tune, which I realized I had never put on the NES.
TristendosDinosaurAdventures.ftm - Not really a loop, but a goofy lil' OHC I did a while back.

Very nice, Kulor! Is it all right if I use the trumpet-sounding instruments 5 and 6 from FDSCheeze.ftm for something down the road?

I have a piece that I've been working on sparingly over the past day or so. I need some advice on what I have so far. Mostly I'm concerned that the triangle is too overpowering. Also, in row 0E of frame 03, I couldn't get a portamento command working - I used an arp instead but I'm concerned something I did before it is the reason the portamento wouldn't fire. I'm very much an amateur so all criticism is appreciated.

Sure go ahead! It's just a sawtooth, anyway. I think the new versions of Fami will let you generate it just by clicking the "sawtooth" button when you create a new FDS instrument.

Put a Z7F in the effects column at the very first frame of DPCM pattern 00. Problem fixed! ^O^

Ah, thank you on both accounts! I've fixed the tri volume issue. Next time I'll look at the effects table more carefully ^^;

I've uploaded another version of the ftm, this time with a frame added just to give a better idea where the song is going. Again, any and all criticism is appreciated.

Here is an example of the "average bass" which I explained bundled with something I might finish at some point.

The bass was almost stolen by the dubstep vampire.

EDIT: I meant to put this here but accidentally put it in the instrument thread... they're both stickied and as you know I am too quick to post (FDS drums cont'd.ftm)

I don't see the X effect used very often.

Drums are kinda Reggaeton style... I think.

Edit: Smooth triangle volume.
