I think the Triangle is good enough! The noise, I can change the volume on the column! So why using Zxx? I know most ppl using that but in my case, no.
And I (hopefully xD) know how to use Famitracker, when I need help I look up in the effect table (I read them but at Zxx didnt read the desc.).
DPCM does not have its own volume. It steals it from triangle and noise. So the higher this counter is, the louder DPCM is but the quieter triangle and noise are. also, the counter persists after a DPCM sample ends, making tri and noise quieter even if nothing is playing. Zxx directly writes to this value, affecting the volume of tri/noise. Z00 loudest, Z7F quietest.
Not necessarily proud. They are just some random notes i put in different channels to make some weird sounds. Still, it is strange, but you could listen to it, and tell me what do you think.
Please try to apply more thought and effort to what you post here in the future. Submitting anything that you know you didn't put enough effort into is actually against the forum rules as it is a waste of time for everyone. I'm usually fairly lenient and tolerant when it comes to the doodle thread, but that was just going too far.

He means the channel doesn't have a value that lets you modify its output level, which is correct.
EDIT: I said it does, but I meant it doesn't. Sorry for the confusion.

It has a volume, but it's shared between it and tri/noise. The more volume you give DPCM, the less is left over for tri/noise. So a command Zxx exists to set this value directly, since it affects more than one channel.

Right but when I only have opened the Triangle and the DPCM (one_more_time_123BPM.ftm. see page 75 if you dont have the file) The Triangle its movement lowers the DPCM, low notes makes actully a good Tremolo effect!
I think robro's song is pretty good, and maybe something could be added to it, but I have no ideas to give you. It sounds very good, and for being the VRC7 expansion, you have done a good work. I would like to be able to make something like that, which is in fact, amazing, specially that bass line. I still wonder why there are so much instruments and only few of them are used.
EDIT: Are you sure you didn't miss a B01 effect at the end of the last frame, or is that the way the song goes?
And for Patashu's song, it needs to be longer, but what I have heard is also good. I liked the Pulse 1 effect on the VRC6, it gives a cool feeling to it. Keep working on this song and make it even better than it is right now!
