Here's a little thing I wrote for a game me and some friends are working on.
I only use the Triangle to support the Noise channel, although it could sound a lot better if the Triangle was also being used for a bassline, oh well, here you go anyway :P
I like to think it's somewhat inspired by Tim Follin, but there's no magical arps in here anywhere, nor any fancy vibratos and only about three pitchbends.
I have a long way to go to reach the same standard of greatness as Mr. Follin, but this is a start right :P
Here's some of the rest of the stuff featured on the soundtrack I was mentioning
(It's not that good per se, especially since only a few are done:
the first four, plus song #38 - I'm not particularly happy with #3, and I only really like #4 because it's gotta a very crunchy sounding bass to it)
Also if you're wondering about the file name, we're working on a remake of Action 52 (like Action 52 OWNS, except 1: I hope we can pull it all off using only the NES' limitations - but not specifically on NES hardware... None of us know how - and 2: we're not recreating the games from the console exactly, we are going by the game descriptions given in the instruction manual... Some of which are extremely vague so our creativity will take us from there, lol)
my fav original song i ever made, but i get the fealing the bass is from megaman X3 but i dont regognise any songs with it in it... could someone tell me if i copied the bass?
