If I wasn't so lazy, I would be at least half way done with this.
Instead here is about an hour and half of work.
A+ Patashu approved no-DPCM drumline
DPCM = Nasty
Haha, thanks!. Actually, I was toying around with DPCM samples on here, considering the last thing I worked on made good use of it, but it just wasn't working here. I much prefer tri-noise drums anyway!
This was also my first time experimenting with different duty cycles on the noise channel. I really like it!
Decided to start covering the music of Minecraft (completely in Famitracker, of course) and eventually, I'll see if I can replace the original .ogg files with these (export to .wav, convert to .ogg in Audacity.
For now, here's a little bit of "cat.ogg" which you hear after beating the game. If you have minecraft, you can play it by going to search/run > cat.ogg

It does create a lot of white noise though. some of that could be drowned out by boosting your wanted white noise - the hi-hats - and perhaps using the Zxx command too, although I still haven't got my head around that command so you'll have to ask someone else about that.

THIS MIGHT HURT YOUR EARS! YOU SHOULD BETTER LOWER THE VOLUME OF YOUR EARPHONES, IF YOU ARE USING THOSE.
This is some crap i made out of boredom, some random day of my life.
The N163 version(N1) was the original one. It has lots of notes, generated practically randomly, since i was repeatedly hitting the octave up/down buttons and entering random notes. It uses 4 channels. The good thing about it is that you can play around with the waveform of the instrument, to make it sound gross.
The VRC6 version(N2) is virtually the same, except it uses VRC6 expansion(obviously), has a worse note register, and uses more channels. It gets gradually louder every frame.

Not necessarily proud. They are just some random notes i put in different channels to make some weird sounds. Still, it is strange, but you could listen to it, and tell me what do you think.
Well spotted. I noticed that too. I was making the suggestion that you could use it to make your hats sound more audible and the hiss less.
Uh, I dont get that what ya saying o-o (German, still learning english)
When I used Zxx command it didnt helped me much, when I used Yxx command (in the last frame C#3 03 or 02 idk), the sample jumps with Yxx to the right point like in the original
Ok - zxx doesn't change your samples, it effects the volume of your noise and triangle column (they are connected in output to the DPCM column). I'm not sure how it works, but if you try it could help.
