You can use the text file or this post as a key to see what each sample is. Instead of renaming each file to what instrument they are, I kept the "$" designation in there. This is incase I happened to miss any samples, and if anyone else tried ripping samples and wanted to compare.

I ripped these from nsfs using jsr's nsf player, and I attempted to be complete with each game. In the event that a game had samples or something that are missing, let me know. Keep in mind that if it's something like a vocal sample that doesn't exist in an nsf that's out there, I can't do anything about that.

Current known errors (either w/ my set or encountered in the process) -
-gimmick samples are messed up
-attempted to rip vocal samples from skate or die 2, was unable to
-was unable to play/ rip Aces: Iron Eagle III (but who cares, right? haha :)).

If you have any soundtrack requests let me know.

Sweet. I've been meaning to do something like this myself, and now I don't have to. Thank you very much.

I don't see the original TMNT game in there, but I guess those samples are used in some other game you ripped, so it's all good.

Hmm, I'll probably go back in and add the original anyways.

It's funny, I skipped over it without listening to it. I thought I recalled it not having any samples, but I can hear the bass drum sample in my head just thinking about it now. That's what happens when you do this in the middle of the night!

I don't mind having doubles in this set for the sake of being complete. While a lot of samples sound the same across games, I'd rather include everything in a soundtrack that I tackle.

Later on I'll post a collection of samples in .wav as well, and that'll have doubles removed.

But... don't pretty much all konami games use those samples anyway?

Yes, thanks a lot! Using pitched samples confused the hell out of me for a while. But I finally stopped being lazy, set out to work on an arrangement using sunsoft samples, and, success! :

For raw PCM different from the DMC one bit,
voice samples included in Skate or Die 2 can not be ripping the NSF Live on.
In addition, Raw PCM of Battletoads is similar.

For a second I thought bucky came back, but then I had to realize that it was just a run of the mill 5 year old bump. Well done.
