The biggest advantage of lsdj over famitracker is a possibhility to enter notes while the song is playing (without having to stop), it makes it possible to jam with others in real time. It is also my preffered way to make music, rather than startstopping the whole time. When composing tracks I always choose the tool that is more convenient for the current situation, so most of the time my tool of choice is LSDJ.

Now if the Famitracker had a mode in which you could do that I would certainly prefer to use FT at home all the time. I am sure there are other people who would appreciate it as well, so here comes my little suggestion to give users an option to disable the follow mode (and maybe an option to loop a section of a song without messing with the playlist? yeah).

I kinda agree with it being pretty annoying how clicking somewhere takes you to that part of the song immediately, especially if you want to change something in the frame editor, and it takes you to the frame you just clicked, but not to the beginning of it but to the position you were in the frame playing when you clicked. In other words (that last sentence was a mess), I think you should be able to select a frame in the frame editor by single clicking, and if you want to move to a certain frame in the song, you have to double-click.

Yeah. I still think what I said is true - sure, it's great that it doesn't disrupt the song rhythm, but if you're at the end of a frame when you click another frame, you end up in the next frame before you manage to change it. Meh. Nevermind. I guess I just don't like trackers that much.

Edit: wrong thread. XP Many apologies. xD If you want the gist of what this post said, go check the WIP thread.

I think you put this in the wrong thread, Kizul. Anyway, yeah, I've noticed some odd things happening when parsing MML for the VRC6 instruments too...

I did some experiments today on an option like that, and this is how it looks like now:

Write if you have more details you would like to see. (Like from where the play cursor should start, and such)

This is great. I'm liking this a lot. And it's great that you can quickly change it with the click of a button. Thanks!

Yeah that's it. Not really sure if it wouldn't be better if there was no jumping to cursor position when switching back to follow mode (you know, so the song plays constantly) this is how it is done in other trackers but I don't know, it is great either way.

Thank you a lot!
