I am. That Wily machine track is pretty simple, except for the part that sounds like the Excitebike bike sound... It seems I can't do a pitch bend and arpeggio at the same time.
Well, going back to this thread we have some new updates to the file.
New songs:
-The final battle (had to do some crazy arpeggio and duty cycle effect for the Excitebike-sounding part)
-That endless stage (probably missing lots of stuff, but oh well)
-An incomplete Wily stage 4
Other:
-Fixed Plug Man's drums
-Added all the triangle notes to the boss intro
-Possibly other stuff I don't recall...
You can do triplets in trackers by changing the way you look at the patterns. It's simple. The typical way you do quarter notes is to go by every 2 rows. To do a triplet, change the pattern speed to 2, and treat quarter notes in rows of 3 instead. Then, whenever you want to use a triplet, use every second row. It can be a little confusing. You can use this as reference:
Also your Endless battle is also pretty good, I'm glad someone else has attempted to make a remake of it. I was thinking about remaking it in FamiTracker but decided not to since it took me 3 days to create it in S3M. If you need help or reference for some of the effects and/or notes, here's the S3M version I did as well: special2.s3m
Also, Wily Machine can be tedious to recreate as well..the siren part is particularly annoying, but not impossible. If you need an S3M of my take on it as well, let me know and I'll post that for ya too.
This is just an opinion but your tunes are really pleasing to hear. Most seem more mellowed than their original couterparts.
In short, they pack 'less punch' but they have a piano-ie feel to it (sorry for that bad english).
I particularly like "Flash in The Dark" (Dr. Wily's Castle - Stage 1) for it's nostalgic feel. I also love your version of Tornadoman's and Galaxyman's.
