What can you not do on these current forums, features-wise? Anything important?
I can't merge topics or delete shadow topics after moving them. Splitting topics is awkward (it splits from the post AFTER the one you select, not FROM the one you select). I can't do anything about rogue members except lock or delete their posts. I can't view posters' IP addresses like you can on other forum softwares. If I split a topic it becomes mine even though I've never posted in it, and then I get an unwanted "new message" notification every time someone posts in it. I can't sticky or announce existing topics, and if I edit a post of mine that I made sticky or announcement, it loses its status and becomes normal again. Same thing for polls: can't edit a post with a poll in it or else it disappears. PMs are wonky. New post notifications are quirky. Half of the time I'll type a post, hit send only to be sent back to the new post form with my message gone.
There are so many bugs in this forum, including possible security loop-holes (& Senaculum has been stuck in beta version 0.6.5 for the last 4 years or so). Since the actual Forum Senaculum project's dead, what's to say that nobody will try to take advantage of its flaws (unless anyone here decides to pick up from where Slize106 left off)?
