I'm new to tracking so this request might sound stupid for veteran tracker but it would make it easier for me and other newbie. What I would like if it's possible is an option that you could activate so that once you start imputing note in record mode, the software would jump line without having the user pressing a key. I don't know how to explain it well since english is not my native language. The tracker would jump a line every second and place the note on the closest line as you play them. I find it hard to input the note and jump enough line so it sound like I wanted it to sound. I hope you understand what I mean.
You can already do this, actually. Just play the song while in Record mode by pressing enter. Then input the notes that you want as the song is playing.
