You can't have a certain amount of N163 channels rather than 8 and VRC7/FDS at the same time. Their placement comes later than the rest of expansions(next to namco 8 channel comes FDS and then VRC7). Changing the number of namco channels by - let's say - two, deletes two vrc7 channels (5 and 6) if you have them imported (because VRC7 is the last one in row, to the right)
Oh, that's true. I just tested that and saw that happen.

Add 0 for 2A03, 1 for VRC6, 2 for VRC7, 4 for FDS, 8 for MMC5, 16 for N163, and 32 for 5B. 7 gives you VRC6, VRC7, and FDS (1+2+4).
Hope this helped.

I have come up with a question because I'm still wondering about how to submit my NSFs:
Should I tag my NSF files providing song name, original author and my username? I'm not sure since I've never entered one of these and I don't want to do these things wrong.

I think you bumped the wrong thread, dude.
Also, if you mean Famicompo, yeah. Most people tag their NSFs, and they get stripped from the tags for the anonymous pack. Once it ends, they're released with them for proper attribution, if they had them.
