Hey dude, would you mind rendering this for me? The song length is 0:40, and could you upload it as a .wav? Most of the renders are in .flac and there's something about the file format that rubs me the wrong way.
You can still open a FLAC file in Audacity and export it as a WAV file.
If you post the NSF or FTM, and if the size of the WAV file isn't too large, then sure I'll upload a WAV alongside the FLAC. I won't be moving back into my Montreal home until Sunday though, so I can't make any recordings until then (I left all my gear over there last time I went home).

I hate to be 'that guy' but all of the .flacs I've heard have sounded... off. idk, maybe it's just me

Sorry about that, I could have sworn that I'd uploaded it, I guess I just didn't click the thing, and had it sitting there. I also could have sworn that I replied to this yesterday, but my internet was playing up.

A WAV and its corresponding FLAC contain exactly the same data. Nothing is changed. Nothing is lost. You can convert the FLAC back to WAV and it will be bit-for-bit identical to the original WAV.
The only difference is the FLAC file itself is about 50% smaller.
Think of FLAC as a ZIP file containing a WAV. Both contain the same data, but one is smaller than the other.
(Not that ZIP is actually good at compressing.)

I had to rerecord the three town themes from Shovel Knight. Two of them had various crackles and skips in them that I had previously patched by taking part of the other loop and splicing it on top of the glitchy bits. The other one (No Weapons Here) started with the wrong duty cycle on one of the 2A03 square channels due to a bug with the TNS-HFC3. I also recorded Spin Ye Bottle again; like a twat I stopped the recording halfway through the second loop. I noticed after the recording session that I recorded them at a slightly lower volume than the previous renders; that shouldn't matter too much though.
I also rendered the armory themes as per ElHuesudoII's request, and Steel Thy Shovel because it has such beautiful chords in it.
If you're back, jrlepage, then you must help me accomplish something. The Japanese Sega Master System has a BIOS which plays Space Harrier in it, using both the FM and PSG soundchips. This gives the Sega Master System a unique charm. But I didn't let the Master System get away with this. I have thus created an NSF that will give the Famicom almost as much charm as the Master System. But I can't accomplish this alone. You are the chosen one as you have the hardware required to complete my mission. With the power of the VRC7 and 2A03 in your hands, let me...I mean us, help bring the charm of Space Harrier into the Famicom!

I have amended my previous post with more recordings, including yours, mmkthecoolest. Nice cover by the way.
I don't know if you were aware of it, but Zex also made a VRC7 cover of the same track, which I also recorded on hardware. He didn't make much use of the 2A03 though.
