The balance I use isn't trying to mimic Famitracker. It's replicating what I think is the best universal choice for volume levels, and because of that, even if I don't optimize the levels for Famitracker, it will still sound good with NSFPlay because everything here is nicely balanced.
Speaking of track times, would it be standard just to iterate a ~2 min tune twice and export that as an NSF and then put 4:00 in the track length box?
Or do you think it would be best to have no looping at all and put it down as 2 mins?
Put the length of music you want people to listen to. Also keep in mind that they'll have another 109 tracks to listen to besides yours, so asking them to listen to another loop with no new content might be taken poorly.
Get me to the doctor's! I've been told someone's back in town. The chips are down. I just cut and blackout. I'm under Japanese influence and my honour's at stake.
I found some time the last two days to make a small cover, so I submitted that. However, I was forced to really rush the last half of it, so the quality is a mix and match... which is too bad. I still hope someone will enjoy it though
