BGM, Dafydd is right!

You could post some tracks on Myspace, Facebook (certain applications), soundclick, youtube, soundcloud.... for starters. Those are all somewhat popular, and you could reach a lot of people quickly.

Those are all free. I think with soundcloud you can only post 5 tracks a month without a subscription.

If you wanted to spend some money their are also other outlets. For instance, I host my website at GoDaddy.com - the domain was relatively cheap - like 10 bucks, and hosting is 4 bucks a month.

Just some ideas. Of course, those are all digital sources. You could possible do some shows if you had the set, or build some connections with DJs (it seems like you do a lot of dance music, correct me if I'm wrong) and have them play some stuff in their set. As well (again, I could be wrong) but it seems like you might be able to do some DJing yourself with your music and whatnot. Hope that helps and let us know if you post anything - I'd like to hear some stuff!

-Pouch!

I do have some of my old stuff somewhere on Newgrounds (and I mean OLD).

I'm looking into Soundclick and Acidplanet at the moment, and I'm slightly leaning toward Soundclick.

Right now, though, there's a lot of my material I can't make public just yet, as most of it is going into a rhythm game I've helped out with musically, and I don't think the devs would appreciate me making them public :P.

I could sort through my assortment of unfinished music and concept loops and post them on Newgrounds under a new username.

Besides Gamemusic/Chiptunes I'm also into EDM, so I try to produce some aswell, like Techno/House/Trance.. and I'm also into DJing, with a radio show every month Had my first live set in a disco in december, that was pretty fun.

I dont play an Instrument though, and I haven't really learned music theory, but when I read about it I see that I learned many things by myself, while Tracking or just listening to lots of music. That helps a lot I guess!

Underground hip hop beats for me. I mess around with FL Studio somewhat, the stock instruments suck...

I play piano/keyboard, but I'm rather rusty at it.

Hello folks. I am new here and I actually tracked my first chippytune using OctaMED v4 for Amiga back in 1996. I've simply and casually composed some not so complete tunes over the years since. A lot of NES/SNES covers. I've use/d Delitracker, Fastracker, Digibooster, Milky Tracker (my current favorite) Fruity Loops Studio (to an extent since it's very heavy)

My favorite type music in a digital world is probably Game Music from the past. I am in the process of making a new Retro NES style Graphics/Music RTP for Rpg Maker VX and decided that maybe I'll use FT to compose the music resources that I'd like to include which i'll then convert to OGG. I have a page with a bit less than half of what i have actually posted or let anyone check out:

http://vorpal86.snesorama.us/rmxp_bgmusic.html

Most of them are incomplete cause I just couldnt find the patience to finish them. All of these here were composed on OctaMED aside from the Star Tropics which was made with Fruity Loops. i have quite a few more but unfinished and still in MED format.

I just wish I had the patience and courage to sit down like I did back in the mid 90's.. But that's what I've done. I do gfx mostly and a lot more than music as I feel better at it.

At any rate, that's me, and I still love the NSF music.

PS: I actually enjoyed the NES music of Ninja Gaiden 1-3 better than I did when it was ported over and simi-enhanced on the SNES.. they dissapointed me on those compositions..

Anyway, hope I didn't rattle on.
