Thanks to FamiTracker I've got the probably best hobby of my life, I have learned more about music, the NES/Famicom hardware, I joined this community, I have heard great music from the users of this community, I have made cool covers, I have composed my own little tunes, but with the bad luck that I have only uploaded one, I have found new NES games, and for one year this little program has given me infinite fun, and will still do for a long time. I specially like the interface. Greatly intuituve, easy to use, fun to play with, and get to think about it: just make a blank instrument and you are composing!

I will always be grateful. If it weren't for FamiTracker, I might just be the same I was before, and probably my summer vacation would have been ruined. I probably forgot to say something, but the following would never be forgotten:

THANKS A LOT JSR!
I know I've already wrote one, but this one is more of what i was going to say.

This may not be worth much, coming from a newbie, but I wanted to express my gratitude as well. FamiTracker was my introduction into the world of trackers, and while I've been exposed to others, FamiTracker is certainly the easiest to use, very clean looking, and best of all acts as a great introduction to music and composing in general. No need to worry about samples, no hassle with effects, it does exactly what it means to, and that is to recreate the wonderful sound system of the NES and its games.

Thank you, JSR, for your hard work and dedication.

That's curious Glitch_King. Thanks to you, my thanks to jsr have been tripled. Also, TheNoblePirate, your thanks are worth something too. Being new doesn't mean you are nobody.

I wonder if jsr has already read this thread.

Thank you all too. This program would be nothing without all the awesome music that I've had the chance to listen to over the years!

it's a decent program

No, it's amazing, this program got me into music, and I never knew how to make music until I got it. It's so easy to learn how to use, I've met some of the best people ever, and got into my favorite community ever, BotB, because of Famitracker. It's easy to use, and it brought me into music making, and I never would've knew about trackers or anything without it.

Good job, Jsr. You've literally affected people's lives for the better, with a little program that makes music for outdated hardware, called Famitracker. Thank you for it. <3

I discovered this when i was eleven... (I'm thirteen now...)
And i instantly became in love with it!

FamiTracker is the only music software that i love! No other software is so simple and so good. I think...

Anyway...

Thank you so much for making this, JSR! <3

Wow, I never expected you to be SO young. I guess that people from all over the world and of all ages use this program. And if you consider that not everyone are in the forum, we could say that FamiTracker is known by a good amount of people.

This thread is so good that it should get stickied, just in case more people want to thank jsr.

ME!

No, I'm lying. I'm 17, and I hate not having discovered this tracker when I was younger(I did so about one year ago).

You sir are a lucky guy.

Age isn't relevant - only how much you love getting better at making music is! :3
