FamiTracker is not set up in a way that would make the UI easy to translate. There's no organized collection of strings to replace-- they're scattered all over the code. If you wanted to do it, you'd need programming tools (i.e. Visual Studio 2008 Pro), and a lot of patience.
As for keeping up with the documentation, this can be done relatively easily. There are merge/diff tools that can assist tracking changes between versions (e.g. WinMerge). Basically when a new version of FamiTracker comes out, you can use these tools to compare its docs against the previous ones to give you a list of only what has changed, then you can go to your translated documents and add only translations for the changes.
I can put translations on the download page, if you'd want to share it.

Actually most of the text is stored in the resource file (FamiTracker.rc). You can open that file in a text editor if you don't have visual studio installed.

FamiTracker.rc, that's nice to know. I'll have it in mind. I would share the translation, of course! Also, if you said most of the text is in that file, where can I find more texts so I can then be able to translate the whole executable (given the fact that I'm able to do so)?
The delta comes from the name of the Greek letter which looks like a triangle. In math it's used to represent the d ifference of something. But in any case, I think for translation it should be the technical term for this, Delta Modulation
Thanks for that. I now may have a better name for it in case I need to translate it. Still, I'll start working again on the help file in a few weeks since I'm too busy at the moment.
Well, really the thing that the channel does is DPCM. DPCM is a more standard term, but "DMC" is kind of a specific name we've made up for the Nintendo.
So... "DMC" should translate to something that means "channel for DPCM" maybe.
You two guys, I would have never expected such a friendly reply, it feels pretty good, so thanks, thanks a lot for that extra information. If I remember correctly, although I may have read those before, I swear I understood very little, but I think now I can understand better since I now felt more inspired to read them.
There's no clue for a meaning of DMC in those documents I think, but I'll keep both definitions you provided as the true meaning for now.
