By the way, just to verify, here is what Original Entry 71 (Frankenstein) sounds like played through an actual Gimmick! cart. Pardon the DPCM (it's playing DPCM samples from Gimmick, since I can't change what's on the ROM).

I recorded every 5B-only entry (that's three total) on my faux-5B cart.

Original 09
Original 71 (with proper DPCM!)
Cover 61

Sorry for the really quiet audio; the YMZ284 has a really quiet output.

Histogram of entry counts against time, from FCM3 to FCM9, excluding Mini Classical.

Subtracks of FCM8/9 entries are counted separately.

(The time in all these long entries are real.)

Woah, FoD liked my covers. This is very satisfactory. Thanks, FoD!

I've spent so much time editing my (not actually only mine) entry, to make it sound better in virtuansf. And bam, everyone uses nsfplug, where it sounds quiet as fuck.

You had it coming for relying on an old, inaccurate, out of development player!

Because it was recommended there: http://wikiwiki.jp/mck/?NSF%A5%D7%A5%EC%A5%A4%A5%E4%A1%BC#h2_content_1_0

"The entry" sounds fine in NSFWplay/plug... I actually looked for it to see if you'd actually submitted it.

VirtuaNSF isn't out of development, the last update was in June.
