I was now thinking that it's amazing to be able to use any expansion. I'd do a 5B cover, unfortunately it's still not supported by FamiTracker and the hacked version can't export to NSF.
Well, might as well swap between VRC6 and N163, and maybe some FDS if I feel like I could to do something with it.
I also think I will create something great.
EDIT: I assume that for ethical and fairness reasons I can't submit anything old, right?
Well, I did. But yeah, you're not really supposed to.

Cheaters...
Well, I will have some spare time this weekend so it might be a good time to start working on something. Thanks for clearing that out guys.
MORE QUESTIONS: Would it be okay to remix a song I made some months ago and submit it to the contest? Also, I might guess that entries are sent anonymously, just as in Demo Compo, right?
I think I'm getting some ideas to send to this contest. I will do as best as possible to be at least in the top ten. I just need to confirm some little things first, and if I'm lucky I'll start tomorrow. Thanks in advance guys.
Just started work on one of my entries!
(though judging how these things usually go, I'll probably scrap it, and start over a week before the deadline)

Maybe it would help if there was a rule that "forces" everyone to listen to the nsfs using the same standard nsf player to avoid incompatibility issues as well as losing score because of the volume levels being different from how the song was meant to be listened to.
(Or the case of emulation as well when it comes to FDS modulation, 5B envelopes and VRC7 patches)
Oh well, at least this could be something to consider next time IF there will be a next time, assuming anyone takes the responsibility of keeping FCM alive.
