Rainwarrior, original 09 crashes after it's opened in that version. I'm using Patashu's Synthesia version but in the one you linked it crashes too. I'll see if other players can open it for now.
When I open the entry in NSFPlay it stops responding, I get a Windows crash message and then the program closes. I'm unable to play that file, and also original 71 as Loliconst mentioned in the Synthesia build thread.
I am able to duplicate this problem immediately with Synthesia (which is not my program), but I haven't been able to make it happen with the regular build of NSFPlay. It really doesn't work with the recent beta I linked?
Just finished listening to the originals; I agree there are a lot that are kinda mediocre, but there still some great nsfs lodged in there somewhere.
The ones I enjoyed from the originals were 3, 8, 11, 12, 13, 17, 25, 28, 32, 33, 35, 36, 40, 43, 46, 51, 52, 54, 56, 62, 66, 67, 70, 72, 75 (with the 2a03 muted), 81, 83, 84, 85, 87, 88, 92, 97, 98, 99, 102, 103 and 106. I've probably left a couple out too. I'll probably do covers tomorrow, which'll be a fun experience, hahaha
Why not? I know there are many entries there that are very good but that's not something that should discourage you from entering. Either way, you don't win or lose anything really, so I think you could have entered anyway.
