This isn't how you use the Bug Reports forum.
Moved to Famitracker Talk.

If you wanna learn instrument techniques from NSF files, I recommend this tool I wrote a while ago: NSF Importer

Hey Rainwarrior, Would it be long/complicated to update NSFImporter to use the latest version of Famitracker?
Seems the versions are so far apart that you can't even Copy/paste from importer to FT. Or it was purposely done.
Just wondering, if it's complicated, screw the idea.

I believe the plan is to write a text exporter for NSFPlay for use with Famitracker's text importer. But I could be wrong.

That's great news if it's reality. I was just wondering. I was working on something, and I HAD to use FT version 3 to get everything to paste and stuff. But then I couldn't use Expand/Shrink, because it didn't exist yet.
Anyways, would be great and I would use it for sure.

I will not make any new updates to the NSF Importer, but it is open source and could probably be easily ported to the latest version if you want (to do it yourself).
I may in the future do an NSFPlay text export, but that's still a ways off.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Me? do it myself! OMG if you knew how incapable I am with that kind of stuff.
I'll just keep using what you've made. It still does everything it has to do, It was more for my own convenience sake.
Thanks for answering!
