Xyz_39808: I guess you meant 7xx, that will be fixed.

Just wanted to confirm Acmfan's Qxy/Rxy problem. I always wondered why the 2a03 bends were not the same values as on N163 to get the same exact bend.

Now all the Qxy/Rxy's in my namco tracks sound like Hammer-ons and Pull-off's instead of the gradual bend intended.

This build, along with several previous ones, cannot import FTMs that contain 64 instruments to the current module with no instruments.

The effects Qxy and Rxy are glitched in N163 in this beta; however the same operands will almost always give different bends between the 2A03 and N163. This is because the former stores pitch using a 11-bit period (12-bit in VRC6), the latter a 18-bit frequency (FamiTracker ignores the 2 LSBs). Thus, pitch changes are more sensitive for low notes in 2A03, but high notes in N163 especially when more channels are used.

Qxy/Rxy got messed up on some channels when I did the noise fix. I've updated the first post with a fixed build.

When deleting a FDS instrument and creating a new one, 01 is still red.

I also noticed that yesterday. I had made an instrument and when I inserted it into the pattern, the number would appear in red, despite the fact that the instrument exists or not.

This also happened with an older module where all instruments would be colored red.

Incompatible and missing instruments are displayed with red color in this build. A mistake makes all FDS instruments appear in red, but it won't affect the behavior and will be fixed in future builds.

Incompatible instruments? Do you mean that there's going to be a change in their behavior or is it just because not all instruments are the same across different versions? I'm a bit confused by that...

I mean incompatible as in trying to use 2a03 instruments on FDS for example. I've seen several files with this kind of error so I thought it would be a good idea to give some visual feedback about that.

Is it actully planned that when Preview full row is activated, playing a song and deactivating/activate a channel and everything stops until a new note is triggered?
It's kinda bugging me...

Quick question and I need advice:

Do I have to replace 4.2 for the beta version or do I have to keep using it until the final version of 4.3 is released?

(If I answer so many question, my apologies.)

i stick to 4.2, because it's STABLE.

and mainly because there's that hiss removal hack.
