Ok, so I was looking at my steam friends earlier today, and I realized I wasn't in any group with any other musicians. At all. I was wondering if anyone had ever thought of making such a group. Something along the lines of a steam group, anyway, I realize we're not all on steam. But I would love to have some live chat room with you guys, so I was just wondering what y'all's thoughts were.
Well, it seems dead most of the time, unless Raijin and co. are on. I do not have anything against the IRC but it is more often easier to try to get an answer from those youngsters over on the #botb channel than trying to spark life into #famitracker.
I would prefer to have a Steam group since you can play video games with those who want to, and also talk about music stuff at the same time (a wet dream of mine). I personally am almost always online on steam so if someone for some reason wants to contact me, I think it would be a whole lot easier to do so through Steam.
I would join, and, if you would like, I'm an extremely irresponsible moderator, and therefore would be fitting for such a job.

I'm perfectly fine for being a Steam group admin, seeing as I'm one of the only ones here who uses Steam regularly
I use it regularly, but I don't really know if i'd make a great admin. When I made a minecraft server, it was supposed to be a hardcore PvP server. That server ended as a creative server...
Course, a steam group has no such possibilities, so I would probably be fine helping out with it.
EDIT: Also, I feel as if we should, like, ask some of the admins/mods, like jsr and jrlepage, if they're ok with a steam group being made from this forum. I don't see anything wrong with it, but, well, may as well ask.
Trix is one that I've never seen a server play, and it'd be interesting to do some assisted jumping on it. But, you need to have the air svars set for surfing to even THINK about doing trix, so I dunno...
