Anyone wanting to obfuscate a FTM easily, so as not to allow a satisfactory reconstruction from this bijective relationship, can use Rainwarrior's NSF importer hack and then export another NSF from that (no N163 allowed), viz. FCM10 Cover #39, Cover #87.
however, as he said, N163 won't work (as well as any futurely supported expansion). it's kinda unfortunate that rainwarrior won't update it.
1xx and 2xx seem to be reversed for N163 channels.
Actually there seems to be plenty of quirks involving the N163 and pitch effects. Take a look at these FTMs for instance.
Fixed! Silly N163 and its inverted effects....

And as for others, it doesn't catch a few settings, like instrument-side FDS modulation, machine speed, or tempo...
EDIT: Tired to replicate the bug on 0.4.2 (not Beta) and uploaded results here (in this case it does catch machine speed). 0.4.2 Beta 2 NSFs give me sound driver failures...
Fixed as well!

Gives me a fatal error on some files I've tried.
I'd like to know which ones! :o

EDIT: I tested it on danooct1's One Winged Angel cover and it doesn't work. The result is unreadable in Famitracker. Also, the attached file doesn't work. Maybe bankswitch = fail? *shrugs*

By the way, it created some invalid stuff when I used it with entry 3 from the FCM10 Exhibition. Check the last frame.
I couldn't fix these yet, but I'm working on it. :P

But considering that the majority of people (>95%?) already have released their source files, I see no legit reason not to respect the few who hasn't (for whatever reason there might be).
95% of the people here might release their source, but that's not the case for BotB and the famicompo archives, where you're not even allowed to upload your source files (save for the FCM8+ Exhibition and an entry's comment thread on BotB, but most people don't seem to want to put extra effort into that ;P).
That's basically why I wrote this. I did not write it out of disrespect for the few people here who submit an .NSF without the source. (it's been quite a while since I saw that happen anyway)
Hey I'm casting a resurrection spell in here because I'm not sure if the program was meant to be compatible with 0.4.4 or 0.4.5 and I need to reobtain the source of this .nsf that I lost. Thank you very much!
Sorry to break it to you, but it seems like this program's only compatible with everything up to 0.4.3 (minus the 0.4.3 beta).
Also, I found an interesting bug in the program when decompiling a song made in 0.3.0. I lost the source of a file I made in 2010, but remembered I shared the NSF with a fan of the best Canadian retro cartoon ever. So, I downloaded my NSF, decompiled it & found that Frame 00 Triangle channel Line E0 contained a 0 in the volume column, right next to an E00 in the effects column. What this did was kill the Triangle channel's volume starting at Frame 01 Tirangle channel Line 00 in the decompiled FTM. However, the NSF played the Triangle channel at that frame & line correctly (at max volume). It's not a perfect tool, but I'd still give it a 99.999% for accuracy.
