I apologize for coming back to this site for a couple months ago.

Anyways, here is the my another VRC7 cover with rhythm and blues style of Wizardry (The Edge) for Commodore 64.

He puts the rows in groups of three.

It's a nice little loop, especially since VRC7 has its own distinctive sound.

You could equally do this by using G00 (or no Gxx), G02 and G04 on each successive note of the triplet, or even by alternating between (say) F04 and F02 every two rows.

This is a pretty nice remix, btw.

I'm actually a bit curious, how much access do you kingcandy have to Famitracker? This might be a bit tricky to answer but what is it that you can do with it? I'm a bit curious to know how you are able to work with this software?
