It's not that we don't respect him because he's a noob, we were all noobs at one point. It's because he registered on the forums for the sole purpose of asking for a cover. We would be totally respectful (I'd like to think) if he came and said "This is my crappy first attempt, help me improve" with and FTM worse than OMG_donut's medi.ftm. It's just that he registered, not because he wanted to improve, not because he wanted to comment on other's work, but because he wanted us to make a cover for him.

cheeseguy's first post is what i have in mind with blunt, yet to the point (maybe a few small jokes but overall it was sort of 'hey here are the boundaries, but welcome') and not filled with ad hominem and bullying.
glitch_king, i didn't think you were very blunt at all since you put a lot of ad hominem (the "Disgusting" link and the "this makes me want to vomit" and the "this is why a lot of awesome chipists are gone" ) and i felt it was just a lot of pushing your superiority on him.
and i'll say this again, xio's post was a request, not a requirement so none of you were obligated to fulfill his need (i certainly won't do the cover myself). i'll ask this again, why did you feel the need to throw a bunch of ad hominem in your posts?

You're belittling yourself. Once upon a time you did come in and show that you're in not to ask others to do stuff. You open a thread with a contribution, open to criticism, and by posting, we do have some sense of your character, etc.
xio here could have done the same beforehand. He did come off as a bit of an ass with his reply, but he has proper grammar/spelling (better than Rushjet1's I'd say, but he doesn't look his posts over) and his manner seems good enough. It's not like bomono where he says random crap that doesn't even make sense. Instead, he registers for the sole purpose of a request. As I said before, that's a bit pretentious, don't you think?
I may get a bit of flack for this, but someone who genuinely enjoys K-Pop reply to me and make a cover of any K-Pop song (Gangnam Style doesn't count).

This sums it up. I honestly think that if he came in with a bomono-quality FTM and said "First cover, please give criticism!" then at least some of us (Cheddar and Mustache come to mind here) would give him a warm welcome with a ton of improvements.
