I can't open the example FTM. Also, does it really need to be a slow song? I have an idea in mind but the song isn't really slow (in fact it's a bit upbeat), but I can make it into an incredibly slow module. I wanted to know if this would qualify too.

EDIT: To explain better, it's a song which I'm going to compose through the instrument editor, using the different settings, but the song itself goes a bit fast. Something like your example of the P-switch song from Mario 3 (which is in the wiki).

The example module should open just fine with 0.4.2.

And no the example I provided is not a slow piece; only the tempo settings have to be slow. That's precisely where the challenge lies!

My bad, I meant I couldn't download it. If I click on the link, it shows me a lot of weird characters. However, I could save it as an FTM file directly from the browser so I was able to check it out anyway. [File>Save as: "slowbossbattle.ftm"]

I've come up with something which I hope sounds original enough. It's supposed to be some sort of silly song, but I don't have a name for it. Any suggestions?

I tracked it at speed 1 and then converted it to instrument, but in the process I learned more about instrument timing so I guess it was worth it. :D
I might make a thread for it later.

Holy crap, I just listened to it and... I'm speechless. I saw the thread too, and... great. Now I have this to work up to.

Well done on this, Dr_Mustache. Sounds great! I wanna join this, but every time I try to make something, it turns out awful. That and I am too busy being an SID sellout on meh commodore.
