As far as I know, not all NSF players emulate hardware sweep in the same way. What NSF player/emulator do you use?

Send me the NSF and I'll record it on my Famicom. Then we'll know who's right for sure.

I record (some) NSFs on hardware. Feel free to request a hardware render .

VirtuaNES on Windows and
DeaDBeeF on Android

I don't know about that Android NSF player, but as far as I know VirtuaNES sucks at sound emulation.
Examples: VNES seems to use linear approx, thus completely ignoring how DAC affects the TRI,NOI,DPCM volume. Also both VNES and VNSF have strange VRC7 tone colours.

DeaDBeeF can play anyHZ fine, such as HertzDevil's a 180 Hz song. But on PC NSF player(G_NSF,VirtuaNES,VirtuaNSF),this speed is slowly.

This is based on the very widespread Game_Music_Emu, apparently version 0.5.5 according to the readme file in the latest source package .

The problem is with Famitracker. There were some subtle inaccuracies in the sweep implementation. It's fixed in the beta already.
(Though I don't vouch for the accuracy of any emulator in particular except NSFPlay.)

I'm merely too lazy to investigate which other emulators get it right. :P
