Perhaps I could give the Dive theme a shot? I'd prefer using MMC5, but if I'm the only one I could try VRC6 instead.

Go for it, man. Any chip goes.

wait a minute, we can still pack the whole thing as an ftm if we use ipi's famitracker. that way, you can use whatever expansion chip you want!

That could be a good idea, but the module wouldn't be compatible with the main FT build (I think). Also, it can be hard to read some modules because the channels would be apart from each other (like, I want to see the namco part but I'll have to scroll the screen to do so. It works like that, right?).

Also, no NSF. :(

Otherwise, if it's packed as an alternative module, it would be okay. That way, all the original modules (and NSFs) can be kept along a bigger, ipitracker module with all the songs in it.

I dunno, just my way of seeing it. :D

Alright, guys, I have an idea. Would each of you mind providing a template for the chip you are going to use? I was thinking we could compile each track in an FTM to their respective chip. Like for instance, the second build for the VRC6 one I started that's attached below. So, how about we use the first FTM that's provided for every other soundchip as the template? (ex. Warheart posts a module of the bike theme in 2A03. The instruments from that module become the instruments in the 2A03 template)

His level of awesome is over 9000!
[Did I say that correctly?]

Using templates for different expansions sounds good to me. There'll be many files to manage though, so are you really sure you want to do it this way?

As for me... [cries and runs away]
I don't think I'll do anything soon. My PC is still broken and I can only use speakers to listen to stuff, so I can't cover anything really. If I did I'd probably make a horribly inaccurate thing, and I won't have that.

Oh well, looking forward to anything you make guys! I just hope I can participate anytime soon. :)

Sorry to hear that, breh. ;-;

And don't worry, I'll be able to manage all of the files. If everyone complies, that is. ^^

I expected better from you, jrlepage.

Seriously though, I might do a few songs in this. I'll supply VRC7 template as well!
