And if I have to put notes row by row while performing that function, that's also a problem (I do not like speed 1 or having to go at speeds higher than the actual song with note delays taken into consideration).
+1
I absolutely hated doing my early VRC7 tracks for this reason.

- When an instrument has an arp sequence not including loop or release, in 0.4.2 once the arp has finished the instrument will return to its base note (as specified in the channel data); but 0.4.3 will maintain the last note in the arp (as if it included a loop).
This has a noticeable negative impact on one of my songs' percussion tracks. (Yes, I can work around it, but I actually like it better as it is now.)
Sample testcase is attached - compare its playback between 0.4.2 and 0.4.3:
They should instead be:
- Engine Speed ->
- - NTSC (60Hz)
- - PAL (50Hz)
- - Custom...
Oh, and I would also like the ability to import instrument definitions directly from other .FTM files. Currently the only way to do this is to go to your Module Properties, "Import File", then de-select all songs and import only the instruments (this is already useful in its own right, but sometimes I just want to import one instrument, not them all)
I would really like to know whether the volume 0 delay command on VRC7 will be implemented in a future build of FamiTracker.
+1.

Stratelier: The reason system type and speed is separate is because the NSF format allows it. The system type selects the clock speed, beside the default refresh rate. It's only a minor difference but it's still there.
Regarding instruments, another option is to save the instruments you wish to import as files.
mmkthecoolest: I haven't decided yet, but I'll think about it.

Meaning that an NSF can specify both a system type and custom clock speed?
