this is very nice, as others have said the distorted guitar is great!
the mixing becomes a bit muddied starting at frame 15 imo, i think everything's just a bit too loud and needs some balance. getting really good towards the end though, keep going!

Really cool, and the guitars at one point remind me a lot of "Stand up to myself" from Thunder Force IV (Frames 0F and 10 to be exact)
that's a pretty accurate description, it does remind me of some of the TF4 guitars.
as for the mixing, I usually just try lowering the volume of every channel and selectively bringing up the volume in those channels that you really want to shine, i.e. emphasizing harmonies or parts of a chord that you want to stand out. i'm not the best to ask for advice on mixing though.
This is great so far! It makes me wonder what you're capable of if you had a full workstation to work with =o
It suits an ending more than an opening though...
