First of all, I would suggest lowering the volume of the hihats a bit, as they're overpowering everything else in the mix.
Also reverb is good, but too much can make a mix muddy. If you can, eq the reverb on the hihats leaving only the high end (This will help lighten the sound a bit).
The low end of the mix can and will overpower the kick drum.
I dunno how to do it in fruityloops, but if you want that house-type compression effect you hear these days, you're going to want to learn sidechain compression. Basically, the compressor listens for the kick and compresses (turns the volume down) anything you want at that point allowing the kick to get through.
But anyways...
