Also don't be shy, jrlepage is a really kool and passionate guy. He helped me understand a lot of neat things in Famitracker when I met him. We drank and talked about music and video games all night. Don't pass up on this occasion, it's good times. We are so very few and the opportunity to meet fellow Chiptuners is rare.
I'm all alone here in North Western USA. Most people I go to school with don't know the chiptune scene let alone what an NES is... Would be cool to meet some other people but considering the fact that I'm a teenager in highschool, travelling is out of the question.
This basically sums up my situation. Nebraska is barren of anyone/anything (There is at least one other person on these forums who's from Nebraska.) chiptune related AFAIK. If there is anything, it's probably nowhere near where I live.
I think further "who lives in my area" questions should be posted in a separate thread; I'd like anyone in NYC to be able to easily reply in this thread without it being off-topic.
